Pentalog grows in Sibiu (Romania)

One year after the opening of this first office, the local team now has about 50 employees and it had become urgent to give this Branch Office more space in order to be more functional.

This is now done! Pentalog has just moved into one of the newest office buildings in this city of Central Romania. Eventually it may accommodate more than 80 employees.

"The Branch Office in Sibiu receives some of Pentalog Group's most prestigious clients and their operations. It was necessary to have the resources of a larger office in order to be in line with our ambitions," said Monica Jiman, Vice President of Business Development and Director of Operations of the Group.

A little information concerning Pentalog: Pentalog now has more than 360 employees worldwide, of which 300 are in Eastern Europe, 220 people are located in Romania and 90 people in the Republic of Moldova. 60 other employees are in Vietnam, France and Germany. With a growth rate of 65% in 2008, Pentalog joined in 2009 the top 5 Romanian IT outsourcers and claims a market share of 1% of "low cost" services in France.

Its business model of "pure player" combining Offshore / Nearshore resources, steering in Western Europe, and production units in Eastern Europe and Asia is unique.

The Group's clients are giants in industry, telecommunications and banking, such as: ST Ericsson, the Société Générale Group, and Orange as well as growing SMEs. Pentalog has recently received a "Deloitte Technology Fast 50" 2008 prize.
